1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller for novislav.online is:

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer, because our processing is minimal, non-systematic and involves no special categories of data. Data questions go to the address above and are handled by William Davis.

2. What we collect, and what we deliberately do not

2.1 We do not collect

• No cookies of any kind, first or third party.
• No localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB.
• No analytics: no page-view counting, no scroll tracking, no session recording.
• No advertising or conversion pixels, and no remarketing or retargeting audiences.
• No device or browser fingerprinting.
• No third-party requests at all — no external fonts, scripts, images or content delivery networks — so no third party ever learns that you visited.
• No forms, no newsletter, no accounts, no comments. There is nowhere on this site to type anything, by design.
• We never collect passwords, payment card details or identity document numbers. There is no mechanism here that could.

The cookie policy tells you how to verify all of the above in your own browser.

2.2 The server access log

Our web server writes a standard technical log entry each time it delivers a file. Like every web server on the internet, it cannot serve you a page without receiving your IP address. A log entry typically contains:

• the IP address the request came from;
• the date and time of the request;
• the file requested and the response status;
• the browser's user-agent string and, where the browser sends one, the referring page.

Purpose: keeping the server running, diagnosing faults, and defending against attack and abuse.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security and integrity of our own service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have weighed this against your interests and consider it proportionate because the data is not used to build any profile, is not combined with any other source, is not shared, and is deleted on a short cycle.
Retention: access logs are kept no longer than 30 days and are then deleted or rotated out.
Not used for: advertising, measurement, personalisation, or identifying individual readers.

2.3 Email you send us

If you write to info@novislav.online we receive your email address, your name if you give one, and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence, or the steps necessary to handle a legal request such as a data subject request or a rights complaint.
Retention: kept while the matter is open and for up to 12 months afterwards, then deleted, unless we are required to retain it longer to defend a legal claim.
We never add a correspondent to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.

3. Who we share data with

Nobody, for advertising or measurement purposes, because we collect nothing for those purposes.

The only third parties who could ever be involved are our hosting provider, which processes server logs on our instructions as a processor under Article 28 GDPR, and our email provider, for correspondence. We do not sell personal data, we do not disclose it to data brokers, and we do not transfer it outside the European Economic Area. We would disclose data only where we are legally compelled to by a competent authority.

4. Following a partner link

If you click a link marked partner link you leave this site. The destination is a third party's website with its own cookies, tracking and privacy policy, which apply from the moment you arrive there. We receive no personal data back from them — we are told only that a referral occurred, in aggregate, without anything identifying you.

Our outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and a strict-origin-when-cross-origin referrer policy. That means the destination learns only the domain you came from, not which page you were reading. Where your browser sent a campaign parameter in the address of the page you are on, that parameter is passed along so the partner can attribute the referral; it identifies the campaign, not you.

5. Your rights

If the GDPR or an equivalent law applies to you, you have the right to ask us for access to your personal data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to have our processing restricted, to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a portable form. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time — though in practice we ask you for no consent, because we collect nothing that would need it.

Exercise any of these by writing to info@novislav.online or to the postal address in section 1. We answer within one month. Please note that a request about the server log will normally only succeed if you can tell us the IP address and approximate time, since that log is the only thing we could search and it contains nothing that identifies you by name.

6. Complaints

You may complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 727/27, 170 00 Praha 7, uoou.gov.cz. You may also complain to the authority in your own EU country of residence. We would rather you came to us first, but you are not obliged to.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children and we knowingly collect no data from them. We could not readily do so in any case, given that we collect nothing from anyone.

8. Security

The site is static: there is no database, no user account system and no form handler, which removes most of the ways a website leaks personal data. Access to the server and to the mailbox is restricted to the people who need it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. If we ever began collecting something we do not collect today, we would say so here before starting, not afterwards.
